If you’re shopping for a high-performing pickup truck, you may be wondering,”What is the bed size of a Chevy Silverado?” Truck bed sizes range from about 5 to 8 feet. Many of the Chevy Silverado 1500 trims offer all three options, as well as three cab sizes. Learn more about the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and its customization options for North Pole and Fort Wainwright shoppers!

Chevy Silverado Bed Lengths

For the 2018 model-year, the new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is available with one of three beds (or boxes): Short, Standard, or Long. Find out which is right for you below:

  • Short Bed (About 5 ft.): Short beds are most popular, offering strong load-hauling capacities without the awkwardness of a larger size. The cargo box floor length of the Silverado WT Crew Cab/Short Box is 69.3 inches.
  • Standard Bed (About 6 ft.): Standard beds are characterized by their fender wells on the inside of the truck bed. This gives them more cargo volume. The cargo box floor length of the Silverado WT Regular Cab/Standard Box is 78.9 inches.
  • Long Bed (About 8 ft.): Long beds are most popular on commercial trucks. The cargo box floor length of the Silverado WT Regular Cab/Long Box is 97.8 inches.

Chevy Silverado Cab Styles

The Chevy for work or everyday errands around North Pole. Compare your options:

  • Regular Cab: Regular cab seats three. This is your standard two-door truck cabin with one row of seats.
  • Double Cab: Double cab seats six. Double cab is also called “extended cab,” and includes two rows of seats, with the rear row being small than the front. The rear doors are half-sized.
  • Crew Cab: Crew cab also seats six, but offers much more interior room. The rear doors are full-sized and the rear seats are more comfortable.
